The assembly and completion was excellent and well thought out.
The flight charecteristics were terreible...no slo flite and propensity to tip stall...the wing is not correct for this plane.
The MAX lipo battery was bad...charged slightly..probably a bad cell.
I am a accomplished 3d, pattern, float and heli pilot.
After 2 crashs where the nose and canopy suffered, from the faulty battery and tip stall (yes I checked the wing alignment and rudder settings multiple times)...I installed a reliable Epyaya battery and installed a wing from and old Simple Stick and the plane flys on land and water like a dream...Attached is a picture
Tip: the instructions do not specify a CG.....The sponsons act like a lower wing and the CG is almost to the front of the top wing.
Tip: The offline thrust will require up..yes up elevator trim...be ready for down trim on glide and approach...better yet mix throttle with elevator and let radio do it for you
